Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Due to the pandemic, the centre is closed to the public until further notice. Staff are working remotely to serve clients by email, phone and Zoom. Regular Service Ontario's distance education and training network. Partners with Ontario's 24 public colleges, 22 public universities, and 250 public literacy and basic skills and training providers. Provides local access to education and training opportunities, ensuring residents living in smaller communities can access over 18,000 online courses and 1,000 online programs without having to leave their community. Provides course information and helps people register for thousands of free online courses available through learning platforms such as Creativebug, Gale Courses, Lynda.com and Mango Languages. |
