| Description (Service) | Leading Into New Careers (LINC) is an approved employment support provider through Ontario Disability Support Program to connect people with employment barriers to the type of employment that best suits them. Employment preparation is dependent on individual need and includes: job search, resume and cover letter development, specific skill development and interview preparation. Further services may include: Job Matching - Job matching compares the requirements listed in a job description with the skills of the job seeker. If requested, the employer can receive a list of potential candidates for the position. Job Development - Job development helps the employer identify staffing requirements that are not being met. A position can be created to address this, which in turn creates a high level of productivity by staff. Job Coaching - Job coaching helps employees learn the duties of a new job with the use of a job coach at no cost to the employer. This can take place in the work environment our outside it, depending on the needs of the employer and employee. |
