B'saanibamaadsiwin Aboriginal Mental Health Program provides:

  • Culturally relevant and community specific mental health services to Aboriginal individuals, families, and communities of the Parry Sound and Muskoka Districts
  • Assessment and referral
  • Crisis support
  • Counselling treatment
  • Concurrent Disorder treatment (Mental Health and Addiction issues)
  • Community Development aimed at improving First Nations mental health and the resources to deal with mental health issues

Direction for the design, development and delivery of these services is provided by the Program Advisory Committee which represents the First Nation Aboriginal communities of the two Districts.

Hours Admin: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, after hours crisis is available.
Areas Served Muskoka District ; Parry Sound District
Eligibility Member of First Nations community within Muskoka or Parry Sound.
